Primary Mass Media

In today's society mass media serves a great importance. The world depends on mass media to inform people of the current events happening around the world. Media covers anything from local stories, weather, war, food and movies.


Primary media falls into three categories based on the technology by which they are produced: print, electronic and photographic.

Print media includes books, magazines and newspapers and it is also the oldest known media source in the world. Electronic media includes television, radio and sound recordings. Chemical media includes movies.
